Seeking a California Licensed Cybersecurity Counsel, the full-time remote attorney will provide expert legal advice on cybersecurity risks and compliance, support incident response processes, and enhance data governance practices within the organization. Key responsibilities Provide legal guidance on managing cybersecurity risks and compliance with global laws and regulations Collaborate with teams to conduct security audits and enhance data governance operations Support incident detection and response processes, including breach notification and mitigation strategies Required qualifications Juris Doctorate Degree or equivalent international degree Active membership in at least one state bar 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on cybersecurity and incident response Experience with global privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations Strong ability to communicate complex legal issues to various stakeholders
