Aeronautical Engineer Sr - Level 3

Aeronautical Engineer Sr – Fort Worth Thermodynamics Team You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Sr for the Fort Worth Thermodynamics team responsible for advancing aircraft thermal performance and reliability. Responsibilities Perform Thermal Structural Analysis to ensure integrity under extreme conditions. Conduct Bay Ventilation Analysis for optimal airflow and temperature control. Develop and validate Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and Power & Thermal Management Systems (PTMS). Design and test Thermal Management Systems (TMS) for aircraft subsystems. Integrate, test, and qualify Thermal Avionics for mission‑critical performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience applying thermal science principles, tools, and processes in real‑world engineering or research environments. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.

Clearance Level: Secret. Experience with test engineering, instrumentation, data collection, and/or test reports. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and senior management. Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (desired). Active Secret Clearance (desired). Proficiency with the following analysis software: MATLAB/Simulink Siemens Amesim Siemens Simcenter 3D Thermal Work Location: Onsite Full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
