Functional Title Campus Administrator – RS IV Agency Health & Human Services Comm – Incident Management Posting Details Posting Number: 16560 Closing Date: 05/26/2026 Audience: Internal and External Occupational Category: Community and Social Services Salary Range: $3,581.33 – $5,372.41 Pay Frequency: Monthly Salary Group: TEXAS-A-17 Shift: Regular Night (with additional evenings and nights) Telework: Not Eligible Travel: Up to 5% Full Time/Part Time: Full time FLSA Exempt/Non-Exempt: Nonexempt Job Location Mexia State Supported Living Center – 540 CHAPEL DRIVE, MEXIA, TX Overview As Campus Administrator, you will serve as the after‑hours on‑duty professional oversight staff at a state supported living center. The role rotates between 4 p‑12 a or 12 a‑8 a shifts and may involve extended, overnight, or 12‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Continuously monitor the homes and grounds, identifying and addressing unusual occurrences and emergencies immediately. Document nightly issues, concerns, and incidents for administrative review and create Preliminary Unusual Incident Reports. Serve as contact person for abuse/neglect allegations and first responding staff on the scene of critical incidents. Conduct preliminary investigations, evaluate incidents, and recommend changes or improvements to the team and administration. Complete special audits and trending projects to ensure ongoing service delivery and the health and safety of residents. Coordinate and monitor service delivery with administrative/supervisory staff. Work under limited supervision, using initiative and independent judgment. Report directly to the Incident Manager. Complete Fundamentals of Investigations training within six months of hire. Serve in a supporting role for disaster response, recovery, or continuity of operations activation as required. Other Duties Participate in active duty, military, reservist, or veteran duties if applicable. Provide in‑service training to facility staff on approved policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist in resolving technical problems and recommending program improvements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of ICF/IID standards, operating procedures manual, and relevant clinical plans. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, work harmoniously with co‑workers, and exercise good judgment regarding unusual incidents. Ability to train staff, perform approved restraint and sedation techniques, and conduct direct contact duties. Physical ability to perform rounds over wide area. Qualifications (Initial Screening Criteria) Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university and two (2) years of experience with I/DD populations, emergency response, audits, investigations, or supervision. High school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of related experience is acceptable as an alternative. Preferred experience in investigating abuse, neglect, exploitation, serious injuries, assaultive behaviors, choking incidents, fires, etc., in an ICF/IID or residential setting. Additional Requirements Must pass fingerprint criminal background check, pre‑employment drug screen, and registry checks including CANRS, Nurse Aide, Medication Aide, and HHS LEIE. Males ages 18–25 must register with the Selective Service. All employees are subject to random drug testing. Work flexibility required, including overtime, extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
