Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The facility is licensed for 815 beds. Recognized as one of the top 1% of hospitals in the nation for providing high clinical quality. Received national recognition for achievements in patient safety and quality care. Earned a prestigious designation for meeting rigorous nursing excellence standards. Serves as a referral center for trauma care, stroke care, and neonatal intensive care. Provides services in pediatric care, including a dedicated pediatric emergency room. Specializes in robotic surgery and offers advanced cardiology and cardiac surgery services. Committed to positive impact and dedicated to the well-being of patients. A collaborative and supportive work environment is fostered for staff. The unit consists of 15 beds. There are 4 RNs and 2 PCTs on the day shift, and 4 RNs on the night shift. Patient ratios are 3-4 patients per RN. Typical equipment used includes telemetry systems and various medical devices. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner. The ideal candidate will be flexible and calm in high-pressure situations. Charge experience is preferred. All nursing staff may float to other medical-surgical areas if needed. Scrub attire is navy blue. Weekend shifts are required, with 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
