Morning + After-School Sitter Needed in Mount Sinai

Hi! We’re looking for a reliable, responsible sitter for our sweet, silly, fairly independent 11-year-old son in Mount Sinai. We need help Mon–Fri mornings from approximately 6:30–8:00 AM to help him get ready and off to school, plus weekday afternoons/evenings on a predictable rotating schedule. Afternoon shifts are generally 2.5–4 hours, starting around 4:30–5:00 PM and ending between 7:00–8:30 PM. Ideally, we’d like coverage every school afternoon, although some Fridays may not be needed. Optional every‑other‑Saturday morning/early afternoon hours are also available. Afternoons include homework/organization, snacks or dinner, and helping him stay on track with his routine. We have two cats, so comfort with pets is important; light cat care may include feeding, litter boxes, playtime, and occasional medication. Comfort administering emergency medication if needed is also important, and we will provide clear instructions and training. Reliable transportation is required. We’re hoping to find someone dependable who can become a consistent part of our family’s routine.
