Job Overview Evergreen Charter School is seeking a Third‑Grade Teacher to support student growth in Hempstead, NY. Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year. Job Type: Full‑time Schedule: Monday to Friday Responsibilities Monitor student learning and provide academic instruction by implementing the curriculum with fidelity and using data to drive instruction. Create a positive, structured learning environment to ensure students observe the school’s core values and high expectations. Prepare lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, including differentiated instruction based on students’ strengths and learning styles. Implement effective classroom management based on pedagogical practice. Commit to professional growth by participating actively in department meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development initiatives. Participate in extracurricular activities hosted by ECS, collaborate within the team, and meet all professional responsibilities. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Valid New York State Certification.
