Data Entry & Indexing Specialist

• Pay Rate: $19.80 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry & Indexing Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Cleveland, OH within a printing and publishing environment. This role is ideal for candidates who are accurate, dependable, comfortable working with digital documents, and able to maintain productivity in a structured production setting. The Data Entry & Indexing Specialist will support high-speed data entry, document indexing, image review, check validation, and quality control for digital document processing. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, clear daily expectations, and the opportunity to join a team-focused environment where accuracy, consistency, and collaboration are valued. Key Responsibilities - Perform high-speed manual key data entry and verification from incoming digital images.

• Validate document classification, extracted data, redactions, and metadata indexing for digital documents.
• Conduct quality control reviews for documents converted to digital format.
• Validate incoming check data, reconcile check batch totals, and distribute check amounts to accounts as required.
• Review information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members, other departments, and management to maintain productivity and service quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills - Perform digital document data entry, verification, and indexing.

• Validate document classifications, extracted data, redactions, and image quality.
• Reconcile check batches and verify check-related data.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced administrative support environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience required.
• Typing test required, and resume must reflect relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with personal computers required.
• Basic ten-key and keyboarding skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information, identify errors, and solve problems.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining positive, productive relationships.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional work approach.

Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience with document imaging, indexing, data verification, or records processing.

• Experience in printing, publishing, mailroom, lockbox, scanning, or digital document production environments.
• Familiarity with quality control processes for scanned or converted documents.
