About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join their team. This newly created leadership role is pivotal in bringing structure, accountability, and operational excellence to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing best-in-class property management systems and operational workflows, driving leasing performance, and reducing vacancy through data-driven oversight. Additionally, the role involves building and overseeing hiring, onboarding, and training programs for field teams, establishing performance metrics, and leading budgeting, cost controls, and operational planning initiatives. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Operations position at the company is a hands-on operator with a proven track record in property management operations, including senior leadership experience. They should have a strong background in managing decentralized, multi-site residential portfolios and be adept at implementing systems, reporting structures, and performance frameworks. Strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to proactively identify and solve operational challenges are essential. The role requires a leader who can drive accountability and culture, and who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
