Head of US Marketing

the client is seeking a strong marketing leader to continue developing its US marketing function and to support commercial leadership in achieving aggressive expansion plans. This role leads the US marketing team and helps drive market presence and awareness through innovative marketing that stands out in a competitive luxury retail environment. The team owns marketing plans covering store events, promotions, new product launches, publications, and key website features. The position manages social media in coordination with an external agency based in New York and aligns with broader marketing support coming from the European global headquarters. Key challenges to address include CRM and client management, digital advertising, and visual merchandising. The role also emphasizes maintaining strong relationships with partner brand senior management and marketing teams, while serving as a strategic partner to the US leadership team by providing insight and shaping marketing strategies across a broad portfolio of stores. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment that is still early in its development and may involve ongoing change as the function matures. The role requires a highly driven, innovative leader who can create consensus behind strategies, manage multiple projects while staying nimble, and communicate effectively to retain support from colleagues and business partners. Required qualifications include 10–15 years of retail/brand marketing experience (preferably with some in luxury), demonstrated omnichannel retail marketing experience, experience leading a small team, delivering campaigns and promotions, and managing external creative and PR agencies; additional strengths include managing press and social relationships, building media and business partnerships, and maintaining a strong team ethic under pressure.
