Senior Product Designer
Makepay
Design the US merchant journey for MakePay. This role owns product design for US merchant acquisition, checkout conversion, dashboard quality, and account workflows. You will translate local market expectations into product experiences that still fit MakePay's global platform. Improve trust and conversion for US merchants evaluating crypto payment options. Create clearer product flows for merchant setup, payment operations, and reporting. Bring senior design judgment to commercially important product decisions. What you will own Design US-focused merchant onboarding, dashboard, payment-link, and checkout experiences. Run discovery with sales, support, and merchant stakeholders to identify product friction. Create prototypes, user flows, interface specs, and product copy for engineering implementation. What you bring Strong ability to balance conversion goals with trust, clarity, and compliance-sensitive details. Experience designing from ambiguous market feedback through shipped product improvements. Nice to have Experience with US fintech, payments, crypto, checkout, or risk workflows. Comfort with analytics, funnel testing, and sales-informed product discovery. Ability to collaborate across time zones with engineering and design peers. First 90 days Improve one US merchant acquisition or activation flow with clear product rationale. Create a design-backed view of the highest-friction US merchant moments. Partner with frontend engineering on launch-quality implementation for a key workflow. How we work Clear ownership, close product feedback, and direct merchant impact.
