Within the Emergency Department, the ER RN Manager will guide operations across the ER, ED, and Fast Track zones that feature 10+ beds, a designated level III Trauma center, access to new mri technology for rapid diagnostics, seamless collaboration supported by 24 hour ob coverage in the ed for complex maternal emergencies, and a collaborative environment staffed by a full RN staff committed to rapid triage, efficient throughput, and exceptional patient experience across all acuity levels.

Reporting to an experienced Emergency Services Director and partnering closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, the ER Nurse Assistant Director will oversee daily ED operations, staffing and scheduling, throughput performance, quality and safety initiatives, budget stewardship, and accreditation readiness while championing a friendly team of nurses and a diverse healthcare professional cohort that includes physicians, APPs, EMS partners, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, case management, and social work; the Emergency Room Nurse Manager will mentor charge nurses, elevate clinical practice via protocols and order sets, drive sepsis, stroke, and chest pain metrics, lead PI councils and shared-leadership committees, collaborate on equipment planning and data-driven dashboards, and ensure a supportive environment where every caregiver is respected, heard, and empowered to excel.
