Training & HR Systems Specialist (Hybrid, Nonprofit)

A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an HR Administrator with strong experience in HR systems, training coordination, and employee development . This role will primarily focus on managing training programs and the LMS while providing general HR and light recruiting support. Responsibilities HR Administrator Location: New York, NY | Hybrid Salary: $70,000-$75,000 | Full-Time About the Role A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an HR Administrator with strong experience in HR systems, training coordination, and employee development . This role will primarily focus on managing training programs and the LMS while providing general HR and light recruiting support. Responsibilities Administer and maintain the organization's LMS , including employee accounts, course assignments, enrollments, reporting, and troubleshooting. Coordinate employee training, orientations, and required learning programs. Track training completion and compliance, follow up on outstanding requirements, and maintain accurate records. Create and maintain training materials, presentations, guides, and other learning resources. Coordinate internal and external training sessions, including scheduling, communications, and attendance. Provide general HR administrative and employee support. Assist with recruiting , including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication. Qualifications 2-5+ years of HR administration, HR operations, training coordination, or related experience. Strong experience with HRIS/LMS systems and HR technology. Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail. Experience coordinating training programs and maintaining compliance records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Some recruiting experience preferred. Nonprofit experience is a plus.
