Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a leading global investment firm, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a collaborative HR team. This is a highly visible role supporting the full employee lifecycle and partnering closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, professional environment. Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote Responsibilities Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, including offer letters, background checks, I-9 compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and HRIS updates Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, employee relations, benefits, and HR programs Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices Lead and coordinate U.S. and global immigration processes, partnering with outside counsel on visa sponsorships, work authorizations, and permanent residency matters Support performance management, training initiatives, employee engagement programs, and HR communications Maintain accurate employee records, reporting, and HR systems data Assist with policy development, process improvements, and special HR projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 4+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Operations experience Prior experience within financial services, investment management, private equity, hedge funds, or related industries strongly preferred Deep knowledge of employment law, immigration regulations, and visa/work authorization processes is required Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office #J-18808-Ljbffr TBG | The Bachrach Group
