Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing Attorney
Locations: Boston, Palo Alto, San Diego
Practice Area: Life Sciences Partnering

Direct Counsel is seeking a Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing Attorney to join a highly regarded firm with a nationally recognized Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate with experience in strategic commercial transactions within the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Structure, negotiate, and draft strategic commercial transaction agreements , including licenses, collaboration agreements, and other commercial contracts.
Advise life sciences clients on complex partnering and licensing transactions in both domestic and international markets.
Work closely with corporate, regulatory, and intellectual property teams to support clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.

Qualifications & Skills:

3-6 years of experience representing life sciences companies in strategic transactions, either in a law firm or in-house setting .
Strong background in commercial transactions, licensing, and collaborations within the life sciences industry.
Corporate or patent experience and/or a technical degree is a plus.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $260,000 - $390,000 (Final offer dependent on experience and location).
