Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments through phone and video consultations to gather relevant information that informs treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients in distress, employing de-escalation techniques to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote recovery and coping strategies, fostering a sense of agency and empowerment.

• Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records for each client, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Collaborate and communicate with external agencies and service providers to make appropriate referrals and support clients' needs.

• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings to enhance skills and share best practices with colleagues.

• Monitor and identify signs of child abuse and other critical issues, ensuring timely intervention in alignment with legal and ethical requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with vulnerable populations, including children, adolescents, and families who are facing mental health challenges and social adversities. Your role will involve advocating for clients from diverse backgrounds and facing unique issues related to their personal circumstances. Your ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations will be key to building trust and facilitating meaningful engagement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of New Jersey is mandatory for this position.

• Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management for diverse populations.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and foster relationships with clients.

• Excellent organizational and planning capabilities to manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and thorough responses.

Compensation and Benefits\n
