Registered Nurse - Cardiac Progressive Care

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: PM; Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36; Every other weekend required.

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Progressive Care. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions, including post-procedural management. Ideal candidates possess strong experience in step-down or ICU settings, demonstrating excellent communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients. Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care strategies. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a valid RN license. Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a related field. Previous step-down or ICU experience preferred.
