Partner Manager Location: Overland Park, KS; Tampa, FL; South Jordan, UT; Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; Dallas, TX; Tualatin, OR; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Cary, NC; Ann Arbor, MI Company: Black & Veatch Corporation Role Overview The complex challenges facing modern infrastructure—energy transition, digital transformation, climate resilience—can only be addressed by assembling a network of partners. The Partner Manager supports the development and execution of strategic partnerships to build a partner ecosystem, operationalizing partnership strategy, enabling joint go‑to‑market initiatives, evaluating partners, and driving pipeline growth alongside internal sales and delivery teams. The role also contributes to client delivery and integrates partner capabilities into engagements. Key Responsibilities Partnership Management: Understand internal and external business value of partnerships in current and new market sectors. Assess and evaluate potential partners and document decisions in coordination with stakeholders. Research internal partner demand and identify gaps, scale, scope, or coverage across the BV Infrastructure Advisory portfolio. Develop high‑level abbreviated business cases for partnerships. Conduct research, outreach, and interviews of potential partners, including leadership and staff. Coordinate new partner set‑up, onboarding, and maintenance processes. Support partner performance tracking, reporting, and evaluation. Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external meetings with potential partners and partner sponsors. Maintain and transition established databases, processes, procedures, and documentation. Document regular meetings and communications with internal teams and external partners. Develop knowledge of databases and internal tools to source company information. Compile internal engagement history and contract arrangements on current and prospective partners. Coordinate partnership agreements and collaborate with corporate legal departments. Joint Go‑to‑Market and Pipeline Development: Participate in account planning and strategy with internal stakeholders and partners. Support execution of joint go‑to‑market initiatives, conferences, campaigns, and thought leadership activities. Enable internal teams on partner capabilities, solutions, and value propositions. Collaborate with sales teams and partners to support deal pursuits and proposals. Solution Development and Delivery Support: Coordinate with market and solution leaders to develop joint offerings and industry solutions. Support development of accelerators, solution assets, and demos leveraging partner technologies. Participate in training on key partner solutions. Participate in delivery of client projects involving partners. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of business partnering, contracting, teaming, and joint ventures. 3+ years in one or more infrastructure areas: electric and gas utilities, oil and gas, water, data center, industrial facilities. Experience working with corporate legal departments on NDAs, teaming agreements, MSAs, and joint venture agreements. Track record of acquiring new capabilities through strategic partnerships or acquisitions. Exposure to enterprise platforms such as EAM, ADMS, AMI, edge computing, cloud, data, or AI solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. 7+ years in a business or technology consulting environment. Core consulting experience and skills. Ability to work cross‑functionally internally and with partner teams. Certifications Certifications related to area of expertise are preferred where applicable. Work Environment / Physical Demands Office environment or client site. Up to 50% travel expected.
