Events Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in site operations and community engagement, is seeking a Events Coordinator to join their team. As a Events Coordinator, you will be part of the Site Operations Department supporting the Engineering Site Leadership team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Events Coordinator
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $22-$24/hr
Duration: 9 months (likely to extend)

What's the Job?

• Support the Engineering Site Leadership team by driving site operations and community engagement initiatives.
• Plan and execute site events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate communications, newsletters, and manage operational budgets.
• Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and nonprofit partners to foster community involvement.
• Maintain operational excellence across the site through effective management and organization.

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience supporting vents, logistics, site operations, or community engagement programs.
• Experience with budget management, vendor coordination,a dn stakeholder engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and leadership levels.
• Experience supporting events, logistics, site operations, or community engagement programs.
• Creative, proactive, and capable of bringing innovative ideas and solutions.
