Location - LIC, NY 11101
Duration - 6 months (Possible extension)
Job Description :
Prepares processes and monitors contract solicitation packages and related addendums. Ensure that all relevant documents are reviewed in a timely, thorough, and professional manner, following established policies, practices and procedures. (a) Appropriate prioritization of documents. (b) Good quality work products generated.
- Reviews bid documents submitted by the Architecture & Engineering, and Project Management Divisions.
- Assists Contractors and Consultants, in all aspects, of the bid & award and prequalification process and ensured bidders’ compliance with the bidding requirements.
- Updates computer files on each project and acts as a liaison between Contractors and the staff. Process requests for additional funding prior to award.
- Prepare process and manage the sealed bid solicitation Request for Contract (RFC) process for various projects related to mentor, capital improvements, requirements, and new constructions.
- Analyze scope of work and cost estimates.
- Function as the Bid Opening Official.
