We are seeking an experienced BOM Specialist to create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for upholstered seating products. This position works closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Inventory, Upholstery, and Sewing teams to ensure accurate materials, efficient production, and cost control.

Pay: $28–$30/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday \u007C 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Onsite 

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Update BOMs for engineering changes and new product launches.
• Verify material usage, fabric, foam, sewing components, and hardware.
• Maintain BOM data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material and production issues.
• Audit BOMs to improve accuracy and reduce waste.

Requirements

• 3+ years of BOM experience in a manufacturing environment (upholstered furniture preferred).
• Strong knowledge of upholstery, sewing, fabrics, foam, and furniture manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to obtain Forklift Operator’s certification.
6 mths – 1 year experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
Farming Background preferred.
Required Qualifications
Ability to listen, understand and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to use all air and power tools (ex: drills, air ratchet, etc.)
Good Interpersonal and Communication skills are required in working with personnel at all levels
within the organization.
Must follow, practice, and adhere to all company procedures, polices, and safety measures.
