Technical SEO & Digital Performance Specialist

Our boutique agency client is looking for a Technical SEO & Digital Performance Specialist to join their growing team. We're looking for someone who enjoys the analytical, technical, and strategic side of digital marketing and understands how SEO connects to visibility, user experience, lead quality, and conversions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, interpreting data, identifying opportunities, and collaborating across multiple areas of marketing performance. You'll work closely with our website development, project management, ads, and account management teams to help support and improve marketing performance for dental practices across the country. What You’ll Do: SEO Strategy & Execution Help manage and support ongoing SEO campaigns for dental practices across the country Perform technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement Monitor indexing, crawlability, redirects, site architecture, and on-page optimization Manage and execute link building campaigns to improve domain authority and search visibility. Assist with local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimization Collaborate with the web team on SEO implementation and website performance improvements Support GEO/AI SEO initiatives and evolving search strategies Help improve not just rankings and traffic, but lead quality and conversions Analytics & Performance Analysis Analyze campaign performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, CallRail, and related platforms Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within campaign data Help connect SEO performance to real business impact, not vanity metrics Support conversion-focused optimization and reporting Clearly communicate findings and recommendations internally and to clients when needed Technical & Agency Support Assist with tracking setup, pixel integration, conversion tracking, troubleshooting, and technical marketing initiatives Support domains, DNS, website launches, migrations, redirects, and SEO quality assurance Support, manage & extend custom High Level CRM and marketing automation platform Help troubleshoot technical issues across websites and marketing systems Collaborate with project managers, account managers, web team, and ads team to ensure campaigns stay aligned and moving forward Become a strategic, technical internal resource for SEO and technical marketing initiatives What You Bring: Technical SEO Knowledge Strong understanding of: Schema markup Indexing and crawlability Site architecture Core Web Vitals Redirects Tracking setup and conversion tracking Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization GEO/AI SEO trends and awareness Proven ability to execute ethical, sustainable link-building strategies focused on organic authority, strictly avoiding link farms or unethical practices Familiarity with WordPress Analytical Ability Comfortable diving deep to analyze & interpret data to identify meaningful trends Able to connect marketing performance to lead quality and business outcomes Understands that conversions, patient quality & real revenue produced at our client's practices matter more than vanity metrics Thinks strategically, not just executing task Agency Adaptability Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment Organized and detail-oriented Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Able to collaborate effectively across departments Comfortable working closely with web team, PMs, AMs, and ads team Resourceful and proactive when faced with new challenges, taking initiative to research and figure things out independently Experience Prior SEO and digital marketing experience required Agency experience is a strong plus Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, SpyFu, Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC, High Level, and CallRail is preferred Dental marketing experience is a plus, but not required
