AccountantLocation: Tulsa, OK Pay: Up to $75,000+ per year, based on experience Job Type: Full-Time Accountant – Must-Have Requirements 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong A/R and A/P experience Experience with account and bank reconciliations Month-end closing experience Fixed assets and depreciation experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Experience with ERP or accounting software Manufacturing accounting experience preferred JobBOSS experience is a plus Accountant – Position Summary The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records and supporting the timely completion of the company's accounting functions. This position will handle A/R, A/P, reconciliations, invoicing, vendor payments, fixed assets, depreciation, budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, tax support, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to identify problems, research solutions, and follow through to resolution. Accountant – Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain accurate and current financial records Prepare and issue customer invoices Process vendor invoices and payments Perform bank and account reconciliations Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Assist with month-end closing Monitor and maintain company and departmental budgets Identify and explain significant budget variances Perform job costing and production cost analysis Prepare financial reports and accounting documentation Support tax reporting and compliance activities Work with the company's CPA as needed Research and resolve accounting discrepancies Maintain appropriate documentation for financial transactions Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date Handle confidential financial and employee information Communicate with management, employees, customers, vendors, financial institutions, and outside accounting professionals Accountant – Additional Qualifications 5-7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of general accounting principles Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and cost analysis Strong Microsoft Excel skills 10-key data entry experience Experience with ERP/MRP and accounting software JobBOSS experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but equivalent accounting experience may be considered TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Employment
