Program Manager, Lead Are you looking for an opportunity to support a critical DoD program? As a DoD acquisition management professional, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the war fighter, aiding in architecting and establishing essential acquisition requirements for mission success. We’re looking for someone like you to lead a team of experts and be a liaison to the government. This is an opportunity to directly influence and impact our country’s defense acquisition and contracts process. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll lead meaningful acquisition support. You will work directly with clients in an integrated, multi‑functional team to develop new systems or modify existing systems. You will focus on the full lifecycle of programs from initial concept design through development, test, and fielding. You will be responsible for identifying project risks, assessing quantitative data, developing presentations and dashboards to communicate program status, supporting management of program budgets, developing and tracking detailed schedules, monitoring and managing scope change, assessing risk and developing mitigation plans, and managing stakeholder communications. The world can’t wait. 12+ years of experience with acquisition reporting, program management, and DoD contracting and budgetary processes 12+ years of experience with Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) pathways, DoDI 5000 series, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Experience working in a Program Management Office (PMO) and collaborating with cross‑functional and cross‑organizational teams Experience working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery Experience working independently developing products for internal and external stakeholders Experience interpreting requirements and developing solutions Experience synthesizing inputs, drafting presentations, and briefing senior government leaders Experience using Microsoft 365 Top Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Experience with Earned Value Management Experience managing research and development programs Experience managing programs to design and deliver integrated hard‑war and soft‑war systems Experience working with suppliers and managing product delivery Master’s degree APDP PM Level III or PMP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
