Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Front Desk Coordinator II for our Outpatient Wound care Clinic who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Front Desk Coordinator II, you will: • Schedule patient appointments • Check patients in and out using electronic medical record, verify insurance, collect account balances • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, and deliver messages to providers promptly • Assist providers with clerical duties such as scanning and faxing • Other duties as assigned Education & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1-2 years of direct medical office administrative assistant/receptionist/coordinator experience • Bilingual in Spanish preferred. • Certified Medical Assistant preferred, to provide coverage for the medical assistant as needed, including screening patients with depression screening, pain management assessment, and taking vitals. Work Schedule: Employment Type: Variable Part-Time Hours per Week: ~8 hrs/week Typical Daily Schedule: Coverage needed on days including M-F 8:00AM-4:30PM Shift Type: Days Weekend Requirements: No Weekends Holiday Requirements: No Holidays Shift Differential Eligible: Yes Pay Range: $18.80 - $24.18 If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
