Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated General Ledger Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing general ledger activities, supporting month-end close, ensuring period-end internal control activities and reporting processes are effectively maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, experience managing fixed assets and inventory accounting, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and growing multi-entity environment and multiple mobile lithotripsy partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Execute and document financial control activities to ensure proper governance and accuracy across balance-sheet accounts.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure integrity of inventory and fixed asset data across multiple business units.
• Manage fixed asset accounting , including tracking additions, disposals, and maintaining depreciation schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory balances , ensuring accuracy of valuation and related cost-of-goods entries.
• Prepare and post monthly amortization and accrual entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end close , including consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and supporting schedules.
• Support corporate reporting by preparing analyses and schedules used in management and audit reviews.
• Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
• Assist with annual audit preparation and provide documentation as requested by external auditors.
• Assist Business Developers with preparing pro forma financials for prospective companies and investor presentations.
• Cross-Functional Growth (Future State): As operations stabilize, cross-train with the Revenue Accountant and Controller to understand and support integration of revenue recognition workflows across our businesses and billing audits as part of your long-term career development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or multi-location environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes
• Hands-on experience with fixed assets, inventory, and accruals
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, imaging, or related industries
• Prior experience with month-end close ownership or process improvement initiatives

Role Level

This is an intermediate-level accounting position , suited for a professional ready to independently manage assigned areas while contributing to process consistency, audit readiness, and overall accounting excellence.

Pay: $65,000-$90,000

-Education and experience may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
