Interventional Radiology Technologist
This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. You will work in a Radiology Interventional unit. The unit includes 1 IR suite and 4 holding bays. You will collaborate with 2 techs and 3 RNs during the day shift, along with 4 PRN staff members. There is an on-call requirement during the week and a weekend rotation. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1, though not guaranteed. You will perform various procedures including lung, liver, and kidney biopsies, as well as port/line placements and drain placements. You will also assist with para/thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, and sedation for other imaging departments such as MRI and CT. A strong team player who can thrive in a busy environment is the best fit for this role. Candidates with critical care and interventional radiology experience are preferred. This facility is known for its Magnet status and has low overall nursing turnover. Enjoy the beautiful mountains and vibrant urban activities available in the surrounding area.
