We require our teachers to have a strong background in dance, great communication skills, and a commitment to our carefully crafted curriculum. Most of all, we want instructors who are invested in nurturing the big dreams of little dancers. Responsibilities
- Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School's carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
- Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
- Build rapport and communication with students' families and prospective clients.
- Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
- Communicate effectively with management and administration.
- Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred
- High school or equivalent is preferred
- Teaching experience is preferred
- Needs to be available on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm
- Tutu School is a collection of quaint boutique ballet schools that provides a creative dance education experience for children from 6 months to 8 years old.
- It is a place where students are urged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies, and where we not only focus on teaching children age-appropriate motor skills and the fundamental principles of ballet but also expose them to the world of classical music and the enchanting stories of famous ballets.
