Program Manager

Senior EHS ManagerTerracon is seeking an experienced Senior EHS Manager to join our team in our Florida Division! This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead our environmental, health, and safety (EHS) efforts in Terracon's Florida Division and assist staff and clients across the country.We are looking for someone with broad EHS experience that can mentor staff and build our EHS practices throughout the Florida Division and work with our EHS team across the country. Some of the EHS skills we are currently looking for include:Air permitting (Title V and minor source)Stormwater/SWPPPRCRA/Hazardous wasteCompliance auditingOil Storage/SPCC plansSARA Title III (Tier II/TRI) reportingIndustrial wastewaterSustainabilityExposure MonitoringIndustrial Hygiene evaluationsWorkplace and Operational SafetyOSHA Compliance EvaluationsGap AssessmentsHealth & Safety Program DevelopmentTo be successful in this role you will need to be confident and possess a strong technical background with proven leadership skills. You will manage projects, prepare reports and other deliverables, and review documents prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and quality following company standards. You will also develop client relationships; and train, mentor, and direct staff on projects. You will serve as a point of contact for EHS services in the Florida Division and provide support on regional and national projects and pursuits.Terracon is a 100 percent employee-owned consulting engineering firm providing quality services to clients. Come Explore with us!Essential Roles and Responsibilities:Assess EHS staff capabilities across the DivisionDevelop EHS Growth Plans with Operational LeadershipWork with Client Development and technical staff on implementing Growth PlansPrepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverablesManage projects and staff to ensure quality and timelinessWork with Operations to understand local EHS growth opportunitiesDevelop strong working relationships with clientsDevelop proposals in response to RFPs and client requestsParticipate in the development of local and regional marketing strategiesSupport safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelinesEvaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Master's degree preferred)Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, minimum 12+ years of experience in a full-time consulting roleDemonstrated high level of technical writing abilityExcellent analytical and communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work and possess a positive attitudeValid driver's license with acceptable violation history40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher preferred
