Embark on an impactful opportunity serving a diverse school community as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position, available immediately through late May 2027, offers both full-time and part-time options to fit your schedule. Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Texas Speech and Language Pathologist Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Bilingual proficiency required
- Experience in school-based SLP services preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Skill in evaluations, planning, and IEP collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across various grade levels
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to bilingual student populations
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and manage case records efficiently
- Consult with educators and staff to develop effective classroom strategies
- Foster a culturally sensitive and inclusive learning environment
- Stay up to date with best practices in bilingual speech therapy
