Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical/Surgical Telemetry License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Position/Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN. Shift: 3x12s, Night Shift. Ratios: 1:5. Weekend Requirement: Required, every other weekend. On-call Requirement: Yes, but rare. If required, on-call is for the first 4 hours. Floating Requirement: Required, if needed. First-time travelers accepted. Special Requirements: Epic experience required. Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule upon manager approval. Unit Details: Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. Daily Census: 10 patients. Additional Unit Information: Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation. Patient Diagnoses: Varied. Traveler Requirements: All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Local Rule: Candidates within 60 miles of the facility will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Important Notes: Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All requirements must be completed on time for the proposed start date.
