Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: Block scheduling with day shifts (0700-1700) and night shifts (2200-0800), 4x10-hour shifts. Weekend coverage required. On-call availability needed for overnight patient care requiring pharmacist services. Reduced non-billable orientation of 0 hours versus standard 40 hours.

Highlights:

• Critical Access hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation serving 25 staffed beds
• Pharmacist-to-patient ratio of 1:25 with daily census of approximately 20 patients
• Diverse clinical experience across Med Surg, Labor and Delivery, Outpatient Infusion, and Emergency Department
• Teaching hospital environment with Epic charting system
• Interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• No parking fees provided at facility

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Pharmacist License (may submit with pending license)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required
• Inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Chemo/Hazardous Drug handling experience
• Pyxis system experience
• Home Health Infusion experience
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must have reliable vehicle for this assignment
• Willingness to float between sister facilities if needed
