The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.Shift - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30am-5pm. Rotating holidays required.Job Summary - The University of Kentucky is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform non-invasive vascular exams in accordance to established IAC and departmental guidelines. Additional responsibilities for this position include:-Perform all diagnostic testing utilizing appropriate equipment-Selecting appropriate equipment components to perform all diagnostic testing safely and accurately-Obtain and calculate data necessary to produce accurate clinical reports-Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills preferred.Skills / Knowledge / Abilities - The ideal candidate will be able to perform non-invasive diagnostic vascular exams according to IAC guidelines.Preferred Education/Experience - Associate's degree from Radiology Technology or Sonography program; ARDMS or RVT preferred.Deadline to Apply - 09/06/2026Our University Community - We value the well-being of each of our employees and are dedicated to creating a healthy place for everyone to work, learn and live.
