About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations, fund accounting, and strategic planning. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and managing the firm's books in compliance with regulatory standards. This critical role demands a professional with deep buy-side experience, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to balance day-to-day finance operations with long-term capital strategy in a dynamic, high-performance environment. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with an MBA or CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred, and at least 12 years' of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior role within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or asset management. Key responsibilities for the CFO include financial management and oversight, regulatory, tax, and compliance coordination, strategic planning, and capital management. The role also involves strengthening operational and financial control frameworks, leading budgeting and cost management initiatives, and contributing to fundraising and investor communication processes. The ideal CFO will be a strategic thinker, possess an entrepreneurial mindset, and have a strong command of financial systems and modeling.
