Maintenance Mechanic – Plant Operations

Rome Health is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Plant Operations team. This position helps keep our hospital buildings and equipment safe, working, and well-maintained.

The right candidate will have hands-on experience with basic building maintenance, be comfortable running snow removal equipment, and have solid mechanical skills. You'll handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across the hospital and our satellite locations, with support and training from experienced mechanics when needed.

What you'll do:

Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings and equipment
Help keep hospital facilities safe and in good working order
Operate snow removal equipment during winter months
Work at the main hospital and other Rome Health locations
Take part in scheduled weekends and on-call rotation

What we're looking for:

High School Diploma or GED
Valid New York State Driver's License
Mechanical ability and hands-on maintenance experience
Building trade classes or training are a plus

This is a full-time position . Some weekends and on-call work are required.
