Long-established CPA firm looking for a full-time, experienced, well-rounded bookkeeper. Candidate should be able to multitask, be friendly and outgoing, work independently and in a group setting. During tax season late nights and weekends are required. We offer a competitive salary and benefits, excellent training, and professional growth opportunities.
Job responsibilities and qualifications include:· Take charge of the daily bookkeeping needs for firm clients including recording cash payments, processing payroll, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable modules, managing accounting email for client, and maintaining all financial records as requested by client.
· Provide clients with exceptional service and communication as their back-end office.
· Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
· Excellent technical and communication skills.
· Keeps track of deadlines for multiple clients.
· Experienced in QuickBooks (online and desktop).
· Experienced in various payroll programs.
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
