Work Environment\n

This role allows the flexibility of working remotely while engaging virtually with families and providers in the community health clinic setting. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will be a vital resource for families during critical periods of child development, needing to communicate effectively and navigate various learning styles for diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the individual needs of children with disabilities and delays.
\n
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), fostering collaborative planning with families.
\n
• Track and monitor developmental outcomes, working with team members to adjust strategies as necessary.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based early intervention support that respects and promotes the family’s perspectives and priorities.
\n
• Provide ongoing skills training to families, equipping them with tools to enhance their child’s developmental skills in real-life contexts.
\n
• Utilize effective coaching models and natural environment teaching to engage families in the learning process.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations and adhere to ethical standards to promote safety and well-being.
\n
• Develop strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and effective learning atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on infants and toddlers facing developmental challenges. Your work will have a measurable impact on the physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills of children during these vital early years. By engaging with families, you will help them navigate their child's developmental journey and set the foundation for lifelong learning and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.
\n
• Must hold a valid LCSW license from the New Jersey Department of Public Health.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license to facilitate travel as needed.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to adapt approaches for diverse learning styles.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention or related settings.
\n
• Familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices and evidence-based approaches in child development.

• Bilingualism is preferred, as it helps in reaching a broader range of families.

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills to coordinate effectively with both families and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
