AP Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk will provide essential support in managing our client's financial obligations. The position is temporary, and requires a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in the office per week). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $18 to $20 per hour.

• Match and process invoices promptly and accurately using the 3-way match method
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, or payments
• Prioritize vendor invoices by monitoring discount opportunities
• Handle tax payments via ACH, including upload and verification
• Process employee reimbursements for payment
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain AP-related accounts

• Education: An associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of previous accounting or accounts payable experience
• Software Skills: Familiarity with Lawson software is preferred
• Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-Solving: Takes a proactive approach to resolving obstacles and finding solutions
