Senior Tax Analyst - Private Equity

Overview A private equity firm in the Denver area is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a close-knit team of five tax professionals. The role targets a seasoned tax expert who thrives on solving complex tax challenges, enjoys client interaction, and mentors junior staff, delivering top-tier service to the firm’s owners and high-net-worth individuals while deepening technical expertise. What You’ll Do Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns for partnerships, LLCs, and S corporations Lead tax planning, research, and special projects for clients with sophisticated financial profiles Identify and resolve technical tax issues, offering clear, actionable guidance to clients and team members Collaborate with managers and firm leadership to meet client service goals Mentor and train staff accountants, reviewing their work and supporting their growth Manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment What You Bring CPA license (or active progress toward certification) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation is a plus Minimum 3 years of tax experience, with a strong focus on partnerships and S corporations Solid understanding of basis rules, capital accounts, and multi-state taxation Strong research, communication, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Engagement, and research platforms What’s in It for You Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential Full benefits package Flexible work arrangements with a genuine commitment to work-life balance Typically 40-hour work weeks Ongoing professional development, training, and mentorship A collaborative, supportive team culture where your contributions are valued Details Location: Denver Metropolitan Area Relocation assistance is not offered at this time.
