Senior Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing TechnicianAlliance Technical Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our Indianapolis team.Job Summary:The Senior Manufacturing Technician I independently manages standard to moderately complex Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) builds from assembly through testing. This role serves as a technical resource for production troubleshooting, provides guidance to manufacturing technicians, and supports quality and process improvement initiatives.Supervisory Responsibilities:Provide training and technical guidance to Manufacturing TechniciansAssist with onboarding and development of new techniciansNo direct supervisory responsibilitiesDuties/Responsibilities:Independently assemble, integrate, and test standard to moderately complex CEMS systems, trailers, and sheltersTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, analyzer, and DAS issues during productionInterpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics and identify potential build or design issuesConfigure and verify analyzer and DAS settings for standard system configurationsPerform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure systems meet specificationsSupport root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and manufacturing process improvementsMaintain accurate production, testing, and calibration documentationSupport field commissioning, system startup, and customer training as neededPromote established safety, quality, and 5S standardsRequired Skills/Abilities:Advanced mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and troubleshooting skillsStrong ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematicsKnowledge of CEMS, DAS, gas analyzers, and industrial instrumentationStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to train and provide technical guidance to other techniciansAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferredFour to six years of manufacturing, industrial assembly, electrical, or instrumentation experience preferredExperience with CEMS, DAS, gas analyzers, PLCs, or industrial instrumentation preferredPrevious experience training or guiding technicians preferredPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 25 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbingAbility to work in confined spaces and at heights as neededWork Environment:Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
