Job description:

Load Bearing Wall Company is hiring a residential framer with 4–6
years of hands-on experience in remodeling and single-family homeframing.

We are not a production framer. We are the crew that homeowners and
contractors call when a wall has to come down, a beam has to go in,
and the house has to keep standing while we do it. We work inside
finished homes — basements, main floors, attics, crawl spaces —
solving structural problems other crews won't touch.

This is a salaried position, 40–42 hours per week. We do not burn
people out. We go home.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Framing inside finished, occupied homes — protecting floors,
controlling dust, working clean.
- Setting and supporting LVLs, steel beams, and engineered lumber.
- Bearing wall removal, point-load transfers, headers, posts, sistering.
- Working in crawl spaces and attics when the job calls for it.
- Reading structural drawings and asking the right questions when
something doesn't add up.
- Working alongside a small, sharp crew — not running solo, not
babysitting laborers.

WHERE YOU'LL BE WORKING

Mostly inside. Sometimes a crawl space. Sometimes an attic. Rarely
outside. Jobs run anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 4–6 years of residential framing experience (remodeling and/or single-family.)
- Comfortable in old houses where nothing is square, level, or plumb
until you make it that way.
- Accurate layout and cuts the first time.
- Clean, professional work in occupied homes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A framer who has ideas about how a crew should run — and wants to share them.

COMPENSATION

- Starting salary: $65,000–$90,000/year, depending on experience.
- 23 days PTO.
- Salary, 40–42 hours per week.
- No health, dental, vision, or 401(k) — we put it in the paycheck
