Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to provide support to clients from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible work-life balance. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will engage with fellow team members through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms to ensure a cohesive and integrated treatment approach.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify and evaluate clients’ unique mental health needs and addiction challenges.

• Designing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients’ goals for recovery and personal growth.

• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the diverse needs of our clients.

• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer counselors, to ensure comprehensive client care and support.

• Maintaining strict confidentiality of client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring high standards of professional practice.

• Participating in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Employing crisis intervention techniques and therapeutic strategies to manage acute emotional distress, including trauma interventions and suicide prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling center focuses primarily on individuals battling addiction and substance misuse issues. This includes not only those seeking recovery from drugs and alcohol but also clients dealing with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families, promoting a path towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
