Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Salary: $123,656 - 184,600 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, plus 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a software development-related role.
• We need 3 years of DevOps experience.
• We need 3 years of experience with the AWS cloud platform.
• We need 3 years of software development experience using Python or another systems automation language.
• We need 3 years of experience with AWS services such as RDS, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• We need 3 years of experience supporting application environments on AWS Cloud.
• We need 3 years of experience using code versioning tools, including Git.
• We need 2 years of experience applying security best practices to maintain ongoing compliance with company requirements.
• We need 1 year of experience explaining complex ideas to technical audiences.

• We develop and implement application infrastructure using computer science principles and foundational engineering concepts.
• We write automation scripts to replace manual work and use infrastructure as code to build AWS infrastructure.
• We monitor applications to ensure alignment with our security best practices.
• We design, build, support, and troubleshoot AWS cloud services that power the application platform.
• We commit code to our Git repository and review peers code daily to preserve consistency.
• We resolve issues that block the development team, including pipeline-related problems.
• We communicate technical requirements needed to complete assigned work.
