Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE: Pay: $16–$22/hr, based on experience, plus commission for balances collected on invoices 90+ days past due Schedule: full‑time Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM WHAT ELSE YOU'LL RECEIVE: Health coverage 401(k) with a 3.5% match PTO 6 paid holidays WOULD YOU THRIVE AS OUR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT? As our Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant, you'll take ownership of essential A/R and administrative tasks that directly support our financial accuracy and customer experience. You'll conduct high‑volume outreach to customers regarding open invoices, provide clear explanations about account details, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation within multiple computer systems. Your role includes monitoring and reconciling accounts, collecting payments via credit card or E‑check, and communicating with the team to identify improvements in workflow and procedure. You'll manage tasks from the shared inbox with efficiency, handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, and prepare detailed estimates for service calls. Every responsibility you take on contributes to a smooth, professional, and well‑organized operation. Requirements: Professional phone etiquette Strong computer skills Self‑starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to multitask Team player who communicates well with others Driven to accomplish both individual and team goals Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP, filter, sort, and pivot tables ( preferred ) 5+ years of relative experience ( preferred ) If you can meet the qualifications listed above and feel like the perfect fit for this Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant role, apply today!
