Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant - LTAC travel assignment in Lanham, Maryland. Start date 12/01/2026 for a 13-week contract with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Work a 5x8 day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) in a skilled nursing facility setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,598 to $1,690 per week.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy assistant services under the supervising PT in a long-term acute care setting, following the plan of care.
- Implement and progress therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, range of motion, strength training, gait training, and balance activities.
- Assist with transfers, bed mobility, wheelchair and ambulation training, and functional activities of daily living.
- Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatment, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team.
- Maintain patient safety, proper body mechanics, and infection control; ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Ability to work in a LTAC/Skilled Nursing Facility setting and participate in a travel assignment.
- Availability for 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shifts with guaranteed hours (35 per week).
- Strong communication skills and ability to document patient progress clearly.
- Willingness to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and follow established treatment plans.
