Responsibilities
- Deliver PT assistant services under supervision as part of the patient rehabilitation plan.
- Assist with implemented treatment plans including therapeutic exercises, modalities, gait training, balance, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor and document patient response to treatment; communicate progress and any changes to the supervising PT and care team.
- Support transfers, seating and positioning, ADLs, and fall-prevention strategies; ensure safe patient handling and infection-control practices.
- Assist with data collection, outcome measures, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning and patient education.
- Maintain and sanitize therapy equipment and assistive devices; participate in daily rounds and ensure accurate charting.

Requirements
- Active Maryland Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work 8.0–8.5 hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours; willingness to relocate or travel for the assignment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment
