Tech - Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a Surgical Technologist to support diverse surgical procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates will assist in operative procedures, ensuring sterile technique and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and supplies according to procedural requirements.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of supplies used and procedures performed.
• Support post-operative cleanup and sterilization processes to ready the environment for subsequent cases.
• Adapt to various surgical specialties including ENT, general, gynecologic, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CST or NBSTSA certification.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent surgical technologist experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with a broad range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, gynecologic, and robotic surgeries.
• Exhibit strong critical-thinking and adaptability skills in a dynamic environment.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Have knowledge of the Paragon EMR system, with training provided.
