TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29406!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS & NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Advanced skills in Med Surg procedures. Description: Traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holiday in rotation with hospital employees. The unit has a total of 30 beds when fully opened. Currently, the unit operates with 18 beds as renovations are in process. Patient ratios are 6-7 patients per nurse. The staffing approach is team nursing with nursing techs available on the unit. Unit secretary and nurse support enhance team operations. Documentation is managed through a Meditech system. Scheduling requires working 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period. Floating to like units may be required based on patient care needs. Hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reports with patients are mandatory. The unit operates with specific guidelines and policies. Supporting management, teamwork, and work-life balance are emphasized. The location is known for its rich history, museums, and various outdoor activities.
