Accounting Clerk

Accounting ClerkOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records. This role is responsible for processing transactions, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling accounts, and performing a variety of clerical accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Process and enter financial transactions accurately and in a timely mannerAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsReconcile bank statements, invoices, and general ledger accountsPrepare and maintain accounting records, files, and documentationSupport month-end close activities and account reconciliationsVerify accuracy of invoices, expense reports, and payment documentationHelp resolve discrepancies by working with vendors, customers, and internal teamsAssist with data entry, reporting, and administrative accounting tasksMaintain confidentiality of financial informationFollow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
