A specialized pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist interested in a travel assignment in the Minneapolis, MN area. This role focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care within a specialty pharmacy setting, supporting long-term care and retail pharmacy duties.
Location: Cold Spring, MN
Job Type: Travel assignment
Schedule:
- Saturday & Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional pharmaceutical services in long-term care and retail environments
- Counsel patients on medication therapies and ensure safe and effective use of prescriptions
- Administer immunizations and perform medication therapy management as appropriate
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
- Immunization certification
- CPR certification
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy preferred
