Bring your creativity, passion for floral design, and customer-first mindset to a role where you inspire your team, elevate presentation, and help customers celebrate life's moments with fresh, vibrant floral arrangements every day.Main responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the Floral Department with a focus on customer service, creativity, and department readinessCreate a welcoming, customer-focused environment and assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultationsDesign, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and seasonal programsExecute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, holiday programs, and promotional displaysMaintain full, fresh, visually appealing floral cases, tables, and displays with accurate signage and pricingMonitor plant and flower health, hydration, freshness, and overall presentation standardsManage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste trackingOversee proper receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organizationBuild and manage schedules aligned with sales volume and labor targetsHire, train, coach, and develop floral associates while fostering a positive, collaborative team environmentEnsure compliance with sanitation, safety, handling, labeling, and company operational standardsWe are looking for candidates who possess the following:Soft skills:Strong customer-service mindset with a creative and detail-oriented approachEffective leadership, coaching, and communication skillsStrong organization, time management, and prioritization abilitiesAbility to thrive during seasonal peaks and high-volume eventsCompetencies:Floral design, production, and visual merchandising executionInventory management, ordering, and shrink controlLabor scheduling, task delegation, and performance managementSanitation, safety, and compliance oversightKnowledge:Floral design techniques and merchandising standardsProduct care, hydration, storage, and freshness requirementsStore systems, ordering platforms, and basic computer toolsAbilities:Ability to review sales trends and adjust production accordinglyAbility to train and develop associates at varying skill levelsAbility to lift up to 40–50 lbs. and work in cooler environmentsManual dexterity for trimming, arranging, wrapping, and handling floral productTravel requirements: NoneOther requirements: Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and peak floral seasons; reliable attendance; compliance with company policies, safety standards, and the Code of Business ConductWe also provide a variety of benefits including:Competitive wages paid weeklyAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
